Sophie turns four
I can't believe it's been four years...
Sophie specifically asked for a birthday party at her school for her birthday. YL and I were quite happy to let the occassion pass quietly. No point in starting too early, you know what I mean? But of course peer pressure always wins.
So we dutifully took half day off work each to organise a simple party for her classmates. She has been very excited about it, of course, telling all her friends that her birthday is on Friday and they are all getting goodie bags, etc.
Hmm...one expects these kids to be jaded with birthday parties and goodie bags since there's probably one held every other week in school.

All bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning, ready to kick-start her birthday

This was her a few weeks ago in KL, preparing the goodie bags for her classmates

And this is her today, giving them out to her classmates

Getting ready for the birthday song

Ice-cream cake from Swensen's. If you are ordering one of these, leave them out of the fridge or freezer for at least 2 hours. YL drenched his shirt in sweat trying to cut this one up.

Happy Birthday Sophie!
