Mid Autumn Festival

We took Sophie on her first lantern walk the day after the Mid Autumn Festival. (She was too tired on the evening of the actual day) The moon was pregnant with light, and it was a cool night. The crisp night wind accompanied us as we walked along the Thames river just behind our house.

Sophie was fascinated by the lantern - needless to say - and violently flung it all over the place. It was difficult to get her to walk safely with it on her own, so we had to carry her & the lantern. Next year, .... PIGGY CAKES & MOONCAKES!
