Rome was not as bad as we had expected it to be. We heard stories about how it is a difficult place to travel with an infant, but we actually found it alright. This is despite the fact that we did not bring the stroller, so we had to carry Sophie everywhere. The Italians were enamoured by Sophie, so we were stopped often for them to coo and fawn over her.
