K1 Concert

Sophie's school organised its K1 and K2 concert today. She, naturally, was very excited about the event, and reminded us sternly the night before that we have to go to bed at 9pm so that we can wake up in time for her concert the next morning. She banned TV for us, too.

One year ago today, we attended a similar concert at Sophie's school, and Ju was still a floppy infant without much options except to sleep and wail. Today, he is a proper little toddler, with a lot more tricks up his sleeve. For the first 30 minutes or so, he was rather engrossed with the endless stream of young children parading up and down the auditorium. He allowed Popo to feed him his porridge without much fuss. After he realised that there wasn't fun in what they were doing, he decided to show them what he could do, and started climbing up and down the steps, checking out (read: pulling off) the decorations on stage, and generally making sure his parents and grandmother were kept busy keeping him out of trouble.

Sophie's dance number this year is Time Machine by Hi-Five. I must say her dancing skills have improved considerably.

Nice outfit, Soph!

Strangely enough, Nat didn't allow me to apply make-up on her at this year's concert. And we all thought she's a little vainpot who couldn't resist looking good.

Didn't bring the family this year as the tickets were horribly expensive! So it was only me and papa. Nat also performed better this year.
